This is the first time I've read a book from the "Fudge" series.  You can't help but fall in love with the characters.  My class and I enjoyed this book very much!

The Boxcar Children Book 1 by Gertrude Chandler Warner

 

I read the first book of this series for the first time.  

It's a great story for beginning readers!

Old Yeller by Fred Gipson

I read this book in its entirety for the first time to my second grade class this year. Wow!  Definitely a book worth reading.
